Genesis of PROTEO-Laval
Founded in 1999, PROTEO is a Quebec-based research group focusing on protein function, engineering and applications. Supported by the FRQNT, it brings together 74 research groups from 13 scientific institutions, working on all aspects of proteins, from their chemistry to their physiological roles.
PROTEO-Laval is the research center of the PROTEO network, bringing together researchers from Université Laval.
Composition of the Center
PROTEO-Laval is a research center recognized by the Commission de la recherche de l'Université Laval, bringing together 24 members specialized in the study of protein function, engineering and applications. They come from three faculties and nine departments: Faculty of Science and Engineering (13 members), Faculty of Medicine (10 members) and Faculty of Pharmacy (1 member). We are also delighted to welcome an associate member from the Faculty of Medicine.
