Nearly 100 PROTEO-Laval professors, students, postdocs and PPR members gathered at the Grand Salon on December 16 for their general meetings and a scientific day.
Student and postdoctoral members presented eight lectures and over 25 posters. We also had the pleasure of hearing Professor Kimberley Reynolds, from UT Southwestern (Texas, USA), as keynote speaker, on the topic The Genetic Landscape of a Biochemical Interaction.
The high level of representation from our members greatly contributed to the feeling of belonging and invites us to repeat this kind of event.
The winners of the awards for best presentations were as follows:
Oral presentation: Mia Pelletier (Bruno Gaillet lab)
Poster presentation: Sabrina Gentil (Sophie Gobeil lab), Amélia Poulin (Éric Biron lab) and Francis Noël (Élodie Boisselier lab).
