We would like to congratulate Marianne Régis, from the laboratory of our new member Dmitry Kretov, on receiving an NSERC Master’s Scholarship.
Bohdan Zhuravel, a doctoral student in Nicolas Bisson’s laboratory, has been awarded a FRQ Graduate Scholarship.
Radu Turcitu, a PhD student in Jean Sévigny’s lab, has been awarded the Rachel Lefebvre Colon Cancer Research Grant, the Jean-François-Bergeron Cancer Research Excellence Grant, and a grant from the FRQS. Congratulations to him on this impressive haul of three grants.
Alessandra Guedes Manzoni, a PhD student in Jean Sévigny’s lab, has been awarded a three-year grant from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
Ottilie Le Doeuff, from the lab of our associate member Amélie Fradet-Turcotte, has received a PhD grant from the FQRS.
Lynn Martin, meanwhile, has been awarded a master’s research grant from the FQRS; she is a member of Patrick Laprise’s lab.
Nicolas Soucy, also from Amélie Fradet-Turcotte’s lab, has been awarded a master’s research grant from the FQRS as well.
Mathieu Dugas, who works under the supervision of Jacques Côté, has been awarded a PhD grant from the CIHR.
Laurence Paquet, a Ph.D. candidate in Marie-Ève Paquet’s laboratory, has been awarded an NSERC scholarship.
Finally, Gupta Mimanshu, who is collaborating with Jacques Côté, has received a CIHR-Impact+ postdoctoral fellowship.
At the Faculty of sciences and engineering, the following students have received fellowships:
Gabriela Bernal Astrain, a postdoctoral fellow in Christian Landry’s group, has received a postdoctoral fellowship from the FRQNT.
Maria del Mar Varela, a doctoral student in Sylvain Moineau’s group, has been awarded a doctoral fellowship from the FRQNT.
Adarsh Jay, a PhD student in Christian Landry’s group, has been awarded a FRQNT doctoral fellowship.
Alice Perrault-Jolicoeur, a PhD student in Sylvain Moineau’s team, has received a FRQNT postdoctoral fellowship.
Thomas Pitot, a former PhD student in Sylvain Moineau’s team, has been awarded a postdoctoral fellowship from the FRQNT.
Christina Rossignol-Garon, a master’s student in Sylvain Moineau’s team, has been awarded a master’s scholarship from NSERC and FRQNT.
In the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences, we have the following scholarship recipients:
Myriam Dumont, a master’s student in Laurent Bazinet’s laboratory, has received a Canada Graduate Research Scholarship (CGS M). It is worth noting that she had previously been awarded a PROTEO-ULaval Excellence Scholarship for undergraduate research in the fall.
Jean-Pierre Clément, a doctoral student who is also part of Laurent Bazinet’s team, has been awarded a Canada Graduate Scholarship (CGS D).
